Update on separates for wedding

I posted a couple of weeks ago that I had given up on trying to find a dress for my best friend's wedding, and had decided to wear separates instead. I have since bought a pair of pale grey wide leg trousers which are lovely, so now I'm looking for a top.

I ordered a few tops from Phase Eight, but none of them were quite right. So, last night I ordered this www.closetlondon.com/blue-cold-shoulder-blouse.html

If it fits well, do you think this will look OK for a wedding? I have got pale grey patent heels already, but wouldn't be averse to buying a blue pair, and then mixing it up with some orange accessories. Thoughts?

Otherwise, can anyone recommend a good top that might fit the bill? I'd like it to be fitted (ish), not loose, and quite long as I have a long body (i.e. not a crop top!)

Thanks!

Maybe with this bag and these shoes or similar?

I'm not crazy about the earings but love the rest of it.

I love that website OP - thank you!

Personally I would choose shoes that matched the top - although I do like the royal blue ones. Or wear the grey patent that you've already got.

Best wait for a proper style person to come along though Grin

Yeah just realised the top is darker than cobalt, it looked different on my tablet last night. Think grey shoes might be better...

Dang it. The blue top isn't right. The high neckline does nothing for me. Can anyone help me to find a blouse/top that will go with pale grey wide leg trousers? A v neck would probably look better on me, and it needs to be quite fitted else I look like a sack of spuds! Top of arm coverage would also be good.

I feel like I've looked everywhere!
