Just wondered what people’s opinions were of Chi Chi sizing?

I really like this dress

www.chichiclothing.com/products/Chi-Chi-Melisa-Dress.html

but I’m only 5’2” so think it might be too long. There’s nothing in the petite range that I like as much, and last time I ordered a petite dress (Little Mistress) it was a little too short, as in should sit like this one, but was actually just above my knee.

Any hobbits like me ordered from the standard range and found it to be okay?

That dress is really lovely.

I'm 5'2 and have a Chi Chi dress. It is longer than I would normally wear but not sure if it could easily be altered due to the fabric.

This one is the one I have. It is a few inches below knee length but I really love it so I kept it. I haven't worn it yet, I still might take it to a dress maker to see if it can be altered.

Thanks Pink.

Yours is lovely too! Do you think that can be altered though, with the meshy patterned material? Mine doesn’t have a straight edge, so don’t think it can be Sad Guess I just need to order and try it on. What I wouldn’t give just to be a couple of inches taller.

It is hard to see from the photo but it looks like it might have a seam at the waist in which case it could just be taken up from the waist (rather than hemming the bottom edge).

Thanks emsyj I was wondering about that after I posted, but wasn’t sure that was possible. Can you tell I know nothing about dress altering?? Fingers crossed!
