Stylish packable/crushable sun hats

Does anyone have any recommendations for the above? Happy to spend a bit to get a good quality one that will last me a few years.

I'd ideally like one that lets a bit of air circulate round the head as I get a very sweaty scalp if I wear a sun hat but have thin hair so can't really not wear one.

TIA

Tilley hats.

Between us, dh and I have a cotton one, a hemp one and a nylon one.

The nylon hat is the 'Airflo', which they recommend as the coolest (in temperature), but I find it the sweatiest. Though it's several years old now, and they may have improved the fabric.

All three hats are robust, wide-brimmed and washable. My hemp one has a semi-rigid band in the outer edge of the brim, so it can be squashed flat in a suitcase, or a bit sideways (circle to oval IYSWIM), but is not totally crushable. The others are totally crushable.

They are expensive, but (a) ultimately cost less than a new hat every summer, or sometimes twice a year, and (b) the company claim that the hats will not wear out, and have honoured their guarantee by replacing one of my hats when the brim frayed after several years of heavy use.

www.amazon.co.uk/Ladies-Pleated-Crown-Size-Colour/dp/B007ZOFQ9E?tag=mumsnetforum-21 It is washable - I'm sure they used to sell some different colours as well.

I too am looking at hats.

I fancied a Panama hat (you can get ones that fold up into a tube) but they are quite pricey.
