Am I too old for a strapless dress?

I want to buy this bandeau dress, but I am wondering if 45 is too old. I am feeling quite old since my last birthday! It has boneing, so my saggy boobs shouldn't be a problem. I am starting to get bingo wings (not noticable as long as I don't wave my arms about) but other than that I think I look younger than my age - when my husband is drunk, he says I look 26 :)

It is stunning, I want it! I think you will be fine, it is a classy dress and quite timeless. Go for it!

It's lovely.
You're a long time dead, buy the dress and rock it!

Personally I think only the square of shoulder and slim and toned of arm suit strapless dresses but that goes for women of all ages. It's rare I see a woman in a strapless dress and think, 'she looks great'. I know I certainly couldn't do one justice. Theresa May went through a phase of wearing them a few years back and tbh I don't think they flattered her at all. So I do think there's an age cut off for them (disclaimer: obv I support a woman's right to wear whatever she wants at whatever age).
