Comfy inexpensive ballet flats

Apologies if this has been asked recently - I did a search and could only find threads that were several years old.

Can anybody recommend a brand of ballet flats/similar shoes that are comfy, preferably with a fabric/cushiony lining rather than a horrible plasticy blister-inducing lining, and not stupidly expensive? I have fairly narrow feet and some brands seem to only be available in wide fittings.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I have 2 pairs by Zaxy, you can get them dead cheap on Amazon and they are super comfy. Made of plastic like the 'Melissa' shoes but much more comfortable

Ha, I have wide feet and have found all the ballet flats I've ever tried on to be narrow! There must be someone in the middle of us who gets all the ballet flats.
On the sole thing, I've discovered that gel insoles are a marvellous thing and make any shoe have a lovely soft squishy sole so don't necessarily discount them if they are plasticky inside.

Believe it or not, Crocs do some nice ballet flats that are extremely comfy (I can't wear flats with thin soles as they make my feet cramp).

I wouldn't call them beautiful, but they're not nearly as fugly as regular Crocs. They also have a flock lining.

I have a couple of pairs from Mango which I wore to death and I just replaced them with some from asos. Asos libra they're called. They have thicker more padded soles inside and they're great.

Brilliant, thanks everyone - lots of brands that I hadn't thought of.

Strax your comment made me laugh - yes there must be a category of people with marvellously average-width feet who get all the comfy shoes! Grin

I've bought some in Next before. I fall between a 3 and a 4 and have the narrowest feet known to mankind. Usually I can't even wear slip on shoes because they, eh, slip off! The next ones are a good fit though.
