Bravissimo vs curvy kate

Have seen an ad for curvy kate, how do they compare to Bravissimo. Need some new scaffolding desperately 😬 Not sure whether to make trek to nearest Bravissimo store or try a new website

Bravissimo stock curvy Kate if you wanted to try on before you order.

As always, it depends on your shape. I love Curvy Kate because they are one of the few brands that don't jab me in the armpit with their wires.

gassylady · 18/04/2018 12:14

The armpit jab is one of the reasons I need one new bras. I’ve just fallen into habit of repeat ordering old faithful style, never noticed curvy Kate listed. Shopping trip it is

Brastop online are fabulous for really cheap bras. They stock Curvy Kate. I'm 32FF and haven't paid more than £15 for a bra for the last few years.

DianaT1969 · 18/04/2018 18:50

Brastop own curvy kate, or the other way round. Not sure which, but definitely connected.

Noticed that those two websites are very similar. I think I’ll emeegenct order the usual then have a more leisurely explore of other options Grin

Was just wondering about fit of CK

I love bravissimo own brand, they fit perfect for my shape. Lots of other brands make me go east/west or are jaggy etc

Does anyone else love bravissimo fit & have similar brands to recommend? The wires always end up coming out of bravissimo for me too, another pita.

I buy through Belle lingerie, it’s a total bargain compared to Bravissimo and stocks loads of brands. I’ve got a gorgeous curvy kate set through them, I find that brand comes up small so maybe upsize.

Jemimapuddleduk · 06/05/2018 21:03

You can’t beat the Freya deco. They are around £10-£15 at Belle vs £30 at bravissimo.

buckeejit · 06/05/2018 21:38

Ooh, never heard of that-thanks, will go & have a look!

I've found Curvy Kate very unreliable with sizing. I need to go up at least one band size and the same with cup sizing.

I'd try on before buying.

Potplant2 · 06/05/2018 22:13

I always wear Freya, find them the most comfortable and reliable.

Leia Lingerie is another good tip for cheap large bras. They have an outlet section where I regularly get my bras for £15-18.

I have a curvy kate bra and sound it came up small

CreativeMumma · 08/05/2018 09:47

i also think Ck comes up small and didn't offer much support.
