The ultimate jean shorts

The sun is coming (south east anyway..). I need some jean shorts than are mid thigh or a bit shorter but not super short. Not too baggy... or tight.... where do I look?

I've bought the Next Boy Shorts (£22 I think) ready for the summer. They do them in a few different denim shades.

I usually find nice ones in Tesco!

Next denim shorts are great. And I NEVER recommend anything from Next They have a huge range of shapes, colours and styles so well worth a trip to try some on if you can.

Sainsbury’s TU did some nice ‘boy shorts’ (their words not mine!) last year in nice chino and denim fabrics, short enough but not tight. I find most denim shirts way too tight, they are like cycling shorts on my thighs!

I got a really good pair from M&S, of all places. Right length and just right bagginess. It was a couple of years ago though, so don't know if they have a similar version this year or not.

Cut off a pair of jeans that you don't wear that are super comfy but have outdated hems.

I bought some from H&M yesterday. They are short though . I might do that mike- good idea.

I have a great pair from gap. They're girlfriend but I sized down so they're not as baggy.

I've bought some from Matalan for £10. Not too thick so comfy, a little lower than mid thigh so long enough, and a slightly higher waist so covers my muffin top.
