I want to add a few items to my daily routine to look a bit more polished! Can you recommend the following; a heat protection spray to use before my hotbrush, a cc cream with decent coverage (I am 49 if that is important) and a fake tan that even an idiot can apply to take the glare off my legs. Nothing too high end please. Thanks all.

St Tropez in shower is great. Really subtle and easy to use. Tip- use a tanning mitt in the shower to buff it in, and go over again with a dry one once you've got out to make sure everything is even (it doesn't rinse off completely, so you need to make sure you go over it to avoid streaks) It's still less messy than lotions or sprays. Avoid the Rimmel one. It's a different product altogether. Gungy and waxy, although the colour is nice on the odd occasion I've gotten it right.

I've not tried the St Tropez in shower stuff but I was really impressed with the regular stuff. Streak free!

Bourjois 123 perfect for the cc cream. VO5 heat protection spray. Sorry, can't help re: fake tan.

Another vote for the St Tropez regular stuff. Really easy.

Do you use the St Tropez mousse or cream?

Cream. I have weird skin that takes ages to absorb stuff and it's works fine.

Chocmallows · 16/04/2018 21:54

Another vote for St Tropez. I like the mousse and use hair dye gloves to smooth over quickly.
Olay 7 in 1_CC is my favourite cream.

Tigi S Factor Flat Iron Spray

Bourjois CC Cream

I do love the St Tropez mousses but if I'm only doing my legs I'll just bash on some Palmers gradual tan and save the expensive stuff for the rest of me... but I don't have my legs out much!

Thanks again, bumping for evening traffic!

Heat protection- Lee Stafford original shine one. I try others and always end up going back to it.

Haven't used a CC cream and my colouring too fair to suit fake tan so not much help there!
