Palmers gradual tan or Bondi Sands?

Has anyone tried both of these and can compare?

I've used palmers before and did like the colour although the smell was a bit strong. Never tried Bondi Sands gradual tan but I hear good things about the colour and lack of smell !

Thanks Smile

I would like to know what the Palmers is like too as they sell it in my local Homey B's and I love other Palmers products.

fatballs I am very pale and found that one application of the Palmers one was like using normal fake tan. The colour was fine, just much darker than other gradual tans that I have used.
I haven't used the Bondi one so no help for you OP.

i use the palmers gradual tan, its a good colour for me.

Yeah I agree palmers is a great colour, I didn't find it orange or typical fake tan colour. If used a few times on holiday it blends lovely bringing out your real tan.

I want to try Bondi Sands but there is an £8 difference in the two and not knowing how it is rated I am tempted to just go with palmers now!

Bonds is great but not tried Palmers-you've reminded me to start!

Bondi sands 100%! It's the only fake tan I use as it's a brown rather than orange. I get the instant mousse one as I find it really easy to apply, whereas with a gradual one it's harder to tell where you've already applied so more streaks etc. Plus bondi doesn't have a fake tan smell to it

I like palmers, makes your skin nice and soft too. Only thing I found is that it leaves quite a sticky residue to sleep in. Really want to try Bondi but worried about it being too dark? As I'm so fair.

I love Bondi, but haven't tried Palmers. Bondi goes on and you see where it is, but don't worry streaks. Shower that layer off around 5 hours later and you have an even tan underneath. It doesn't smell (much) and lasts a few days. I hate the smell of other fake tans.

Bondi Sands is fab. My only complaint is that it wears off patchy.

Dove Summer Glow lotion is surprisingly good.

I’m as pasty as they come and live in Australia so spend half my life fake tanning. I’m a solid authority. Grin

Ahh great some good responses re Bondi Sands. I'll get some after work Grin

Cocoa Brown is a good one to look at, price point somewhere between the two, develops quickly and leave a lovely (totally non orange) colour. Also wears off really evenly, the best by far of any I’ve tried (including bondi sands which I also find wears off really patchily). Agree Dove summer body also good, I use it after the Cocoa Brown to top up the colour.

I'm a bit sick of gradual tanners. You just seem to be constantly stinking of fake tan. I prefer to use 'normal' fake tan once a week or so. I use the Bondi Sands gradual one & it smells the same as the once-off ones. I like Cocoa Brown - stick it on, leave it an hour & then wash off. Job done
