Leather Jacket Relining - worth it?

I have this leather jacket from Husk (Australian brand) that originally cost around $1000. I got this from eBay for cheaps, around $200, but shortly after, the sleeves got torn. Maybe that was why the seller sold it.

It has the softest, silkiest leather though. I was quoted $200 for the new lining.

Would you do it?

I think it's worth it if it's something you love and know you will wear for a long time. I have a beautiful tweed coat of my dad's, probably almost as old as me. The tweed was/is in great condition, but the silk lining was falling apart. I had some alterations done and a new lining put in, and it completely rejuvenated the coat. Was worth every penny. But if it's just 'another leather jacket' to you, then I'd see if I could recoup my original investment.
