Drugstore foundation for dry skin?

I have quite dry skin on my face and a short time after appliying my foundation it begins to really show and looks horrible.
I have been using the Revlon color stay for dry skin for ages but it doesn't really look as nice anymore despite using different primers with it. If you have really dry skin what foundation do you use?

I have really dry skin too and I've never found a foundation that's helped, it's more about the moisturiser you put on underneath. I've been using Aveeno and it's been excellent

Thanks wakeup I know the foundation won't help but just want something that won't emphasize the dry bits. my skin doesn't look as bad dryness wise without make up but I really need the coverage it gives when I go out to hide blemishes/imperfections etc. I think low ferritin may be contributing to the worsening of it to be honest and i'm trying to get my iron levels up a bit to see if that helps.
Which aveeno moisturizer is it that you use? I've been using the same one for ages which seems to help a bit but maybe switching it will make a difference

Have you tried a primer underneath? Smashbox do several for different skin types.

I'm currently using Dermalogica Calm Water Gel and it's amazing as a moisturiser and a primer, but is very expensive.

Bourgeois cc cream is the best that I’ve found.

And I swear by Salcura bioskin which is a cracking moisturiser

Bourjois healthy mix serum after moisturiser works for me

Rimmel lasting finish 25hr serum is meant to be for dry skin. I use it and really like it. My skin is very dry.

I watched a YouTube tutorial which recommended the max factor healthy skin foundation for dry skin. I've recently been
Searching 'drugstore foundation for dry skin ' and lots of great recommendations come up. I'm thinking of trying something by max factor next

Thank you, yes I do wear primer its the rimmel lasting finish, maybe I should try a more high end.
The bourjois foundation looks nice Ive heard it oxidises though so it's better to get a couple of shades lighter, has anyone found this or is it not very noticeable if it does?

Doingreat thank you I'm definitely going to have a look into those two, determined to find something that looks nice on my skin! I haven't had a maxfactor foundation for ages or anything by them for that matter so I'd be interested to see what the formulas like now Smile
