Help for DH: beach outfit

Please can someone help with finding a 'beach' shirt for my DH.

When we were in Formentera last year, a lot of the Italian men wore outfits like the ones attached from 6pm ish and DH really liked the style. We've been looking for short sleeve shirts, but just can't seem to find the right style. What material would they be made of? The style was just so effortless!

I would really appreciate if someone could help!

They just look like normal linen shirts to me. Like this one from uniqlo

I second Uniqlo for linen shirts or Primark if its just something cheap for the beach.

Uniqlo is a good idea; I didn't think of there. Do you think the shirts will be linen? They didn't look it on the men I've seen as they weren't creased in any way, or does good quality not crease?

Linen creases, yes.

You can get linen cotton blend, my pure linen shirts always crease. The one is the pic looks like cotton.

Short sleeves are where you are going wrong. You need long sleeves rolled up to create the look properly. The only men I know who where short sleeves shirts are 45+ accountants at work. (Although I stand correct if the yoof are now doing it and I am 5 years out dated - like I am with the sheer black tights on women 😊)

Oddly enough peacocks actually have some nice shirts (and shorts) for men.
