Going out clothes

I always struggle to know what to wear for going out in the evening, like to a bar or a nice restaurant, but I’ve just realised I have literally nothing to wear for those sorts of occasions.

When I went out regularly it used to be skinny jeans and a ‘nice’ top, but I’m not sure skinny jeans are still a thing, and I’m not sure about tops either! I’m doubly stuck as I can’t wear heels anymore due to an old spinal injury.

I’m out with some friends in a few weeks and now panicking I have nothing at all to wear. Please help with some ideas, I’m 33 and a size 12, if it helps.

I’m still in skinny jeans and nice top. I got a navy sheer silk floaty top from phase eight that I quite like, but don’t think they sell any more.

I'm off now in skinies and cut out boots and a red top. I know skinnies are 'over' but I'm focusing on make up and hair !

I love a nice dress too, that dress linked is very jessica rabbit! Even a less obviously 'sexy' dress like this can take you anywhere really

Skinnies are over? Really? What is the new skinny jean?

I’m wearing more of a boyfriend for daytime, but not for evening.

I think that most Oliver Bonas dresses are good for going out. With ankle boots or flats. They're understated, but usually on trend.
