What does everyone wear? I am flying to cephalonia for half term with dh, and ds6 & ds3. Our flight is 7am but will have to leave home at 3am. I am a size 12, curvy (bit of a tummy) and like to be comfy, but would also love to be stylish. Any ideas?

I always wear trousers from next they are a jersey fabric with an elastic waistband. They are called Joggers on the website lots of different prints too they don’t crease either . Then a T-Shirt and a hoodie on my feet I’ll wear converse or trainers and in my bag I’ll have flip flops or sandals so my feet aren’t boiling in the heat when we land.

To offer another opinion - I bought those Next Joggers after seeing them recommended on here - and swiftly relegated them to the 'never leave the house' pile - they look like cheap leggings that have gone baggy, really nasty on.

Try Hush for decent quality, well cut ones instead, would be my reco.

I usually wear yoga pants and a t-shirt, actually my normal clothes

I usually wear leggings with a baggy tshirt/top and trainers and denim jacket. Then take flip flops in my bag. Either that or I wear a casual dress with leggings and then whip off the leggings in the loo when we land.

I had a long haul flight last week. I wore grey marl leggings, a long black t shirt, leather jacket and some black Vans hi-tops. Under that I wore a sports bra. I'm also a curvy 12. If I were going somewhere warmer I'd swap for brighter colours and low-top trainers.

Just trousers and usually long sleeved top. I find the air conditioning makes me cold, but I have a t- shirt to change if going somewhere warm.

I'm really not bothered about looking great. Learnt lesson not to wear jeans if they are in any way tight.

Baukjen neath trousers are a better quality version of the Next trousers. Incredibly comfy, stylish and wash so much better. Much better cost per wear I found.

Jersey harmed and toms for European trips.

I always wear my black harem type trousers and layer up with tshirts and cardigans. I put flip flops in my bag and wear trainers to the flight.

I love thinking about what to wear to fly, I think it’s something to do with thinking if I can just get the clothes right, the flight will be so much more bearable! Did a 4 hour flight recently and made the mistake of wearing jeans, too tight and probably why I had terrible restless legs. Usually I wear a long tube skirt, comfy and works for cold and hot weather and for long haul I can put my flight socks on underneath. I used to like wearing cargo pants so I could fill the pockets with my face cream, lip balm etc so it’s all to hand!

I agree - Next trousers are great.

With those flight times I'd be dead tempted to get to the airport the night before, check into a travel lodge and have a nice meal, an early night, get afew hours sleep then wake up refreshed and arriving at the airport feeling better.

I always think you feel better after rest then whatever outfit will be clean and fresh on.
