I'm off to the shops and would appreciate recommendations

Thanks, Taco.

Am happy to spend a sensible amount for something light that won't irritate my skin.

I’ve recently discovered Altruist on amazon and am really impressed with it. It’s very light and easy to use. And it’s cheap.

I've been using Aldi's own brand for the past few years. Have used it abroad in temps of 30c+ and nobody has ever burnt or had any problems. I think it's around £3 for 200ml.

I use Clinique City Block SPF40 & it suits my skin (combination/slightly dry on cheeks). I’ve tried a sample of Skin defence from the Body Shop but it seemed to clog my pores. Happy shopping 😀

I use La Roche Posay on my face and Banana Boat everywhere else. I use B.B. because it’s what my adult kids who live in Oz use so I reckon if it’s good enough for their sun it’s good enough for me in the U.K.!

Clinique City Block is good.
At the moment I am using Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50+/PA++++ and it's absolutely amazing; great under foundation too.
