Ugg Conin ankle boots - gutted!!

I thought I had found the perfect boots to wear until it's warm enough for sandals. They have just arrived and I can barely put them on they are that tight. I bought them in size 5.5. I am a pretty standard size 5 although admittedly I do have wide feet, not very wide, just a little. I very rarely buy wide fit shoes, put it that way.

Anyway, the boots are stunning and would have really solved my problem. I am only 5.2" so for me, the shaft of ankle boots needs to be quite short. The colour is lovely too, very versatile boots. Gutted gutted gutted. Has anyone seen anything similar?

I bought some similar ish ugg boots in the sales that I could only just get on but I took a chance as they were really cheap.
I bought m&s autograph black socks - they're really thin and a bit silkly and slippy. After a few wears the boots are fine now.

They're leather so they will stretch, stuff them full of newspaper and I mean full, then a couple of days later add some more.

Get a bigger size?

I have the same problem, got Ugg's for Xmas not same as yours but also not the traditional flat style. The opening is so tight to get my foot into but once they are on there is plenty of room for my foot inside the boot, it does get easier. I find if I wear pop socks it's much easier to get on but usually need someone to pull them off

Also I'm sure they recommend to size up, in a 4, 4.5 so went for the 5.5

Yup full size up. I'm a 5.5 or small 6. Except in uggs. Then I'm 7. Swop for a bigger size.

Hope this doesn’t sound sarcastic, its not meant to be, but with fur lined Uggs you don’t wear socks. Would that help with these?
