1980s shop name?

Can anyone remember the name of the wedding/ball dress shop on the LH side going north up St Martin's Lane mid 1980s? Lots of raw silk numbers. Just to put my mind at rest - it's been bothering me a lot recently for some bizarre mid life reason. Was it Droopy and Brown's?
SO wanted a dress from there.

There was a Droopy and Browns in York in the 90’s and it did lots of raw silk and taffeta type clothes if that helps
