My new lipstick just comes right off!

I treated myself to a new Elizabeth Arden Reece Witherspoon ltd edition lipstick for £22 and it’s rubbish. It just comes off everywhere, within no time at all. I can’t wear it anywhere as if I have a coffee or eat anywhere it just slides right off. And I can’t kiss my daughter or DH without leaving huge red lips on them!! I have another lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury which stays on alllll day, even having a meal out in a Mexican restaurant! I want to avoid spending another £20 as I’ve just thrown that down the drain on this one.

Which ones last?! Thank you!

Take it back! I had this with a Bobbi Brown one recently and they refunded me.

I did consider this but I purchased online and don’t have any of the packaging anymore. Plus it was around a month ago now when I bought it.

My Stila liquid lipstick stays put, also Kat Von D liquid lipstick works well for me and the Maybelline superstay liquid lipsticks.
I think liquid ones which dry down will always stay on better than stick type lipsticks.

Max Factor Lipfinity

I like Maybelline and Revlon matte lipsticks, they don't feel horribly drying and they last for ages, Barry M are also really good.

I find mac lipsticks have decent staying power

Maybeline is the only lipstick I will wear. Swear by the stuff it stays on all day!

I’ve had the same with a Clinique Chubby Stick. I use MAC lipstick but someone bought me this in a lovely colour - it’s rubbish!
