Anyone found any nice smartish cotton trousers?

Trying to dodge all the hideous polyester in the shops! Im in need of some cotton trousers for work. Pure cotton ideally although I guess up to 5% elastane would be ok. Budget negotiable. I need them to look fairly smart so no linen trousers and no wide legs (hideous on me).

Anyone bought or seen anything similar recently? Ta

Gap bi stretch skinny ankle pants. £49.95 but 25% off with code MOSTGAP . They are really lovely.

MeanTangerine · 14/04/2018 11:48

KirstenRaymonde · 14/04/2018 11:49

Gap bi-stretch trousers are fantastic

Tantpoke · 14/04/2018 12:08

Lottapianos · 14/04/2018 12:11

Thanks folks. How is the sizing in GAP? I'm usually a 12

I find Gap fairly true to size.

Whatisthislifeiffullofcare · 14/04/2018 13:05

Next Cotton blend twill trousers 97%cotton. I find these a great fit and have washed well. Have 3 colours 😳 But not the white which were a different mix. Look smartish but very comfortable.

Ooh jeff, a pair of potential work trousers I haven't tried and returned. What is the sizing like please?

Oh and OP, I found the M&S ones nice but couldn't get the right length.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/04/2018 15:33

Gap bi-stretch. Hold their shape better than any others I've tried. True to size ime.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/04/2018 15:34

The M&S ones were a bit too wide in the leg for me and I couldn't get the right length to 'sit' where I wanted them to.

Jeffjefftyjeff · 14/04/2018 18:04

Sizing of the Wallis ones is ‘true to size’ for me. Need a belt to stop them sort of riding down - they come with a thin one but I use my own.

TacoFlavouredKisses · 14/04/2018 18:46

I would hold off if you're buying the Gap ones - they do a 40% off full price code fairly regularly!

Kochicoo · 14/04/2018 20:30

Thanks jeff

CountFosco · 15/04/2018 14:58

Another vote for Gap bistretch. My only issue with them is that I think the petite length is slightly short, I think they shrink slightly on washing. Sizing on website is accurate IMHO.

TheBetty · 16/04/2018 10:38

The Gap ones appear to be mostly sold out! Shock
