Long length trousers for walking?

I'm a bit stuck, so thought I'd turn to the wisdom of this forum for suggestions! I am going walking with some friends shortly, and it has been suggested to me that jeans are not ideal for this. However, I normally struggle to buy anything other than jeans, as I wear a 36" inside leg (sometimes a 35). I've been looking at walking trousers, but they don't seem to go beyond 32" as a 'longer length' - that's miles off! Does anyone have suggestions for trousers I could wear to go walking, which do come longer and won't cost a fortune?

Craghoppers do an XL which is 35" according to their website. Their trousers also come in a capri length, which might work better for you. I have the kiwi pro which I really like.

Thanks for the tip! Frustratingly, their sizing guide says this size exists, but then there are no trousers actually for sale on their site at that length... but I'll look around at other sellers for the same brand.

Another vote for Craghoppers kiwi stretch pro. Come up a bit big, but I layer them with leggings when it’s cold, or you can get lined ones. They dry really quickly which is a big advantage over jeans if you get caught in the rain

Rohan has longer length trousers for men and women, as well as unfinished so you can get them tailored to the correct length for you

Rohan don't seem to go quite long enough - and are pricey! I think I'll keep looking for some of the Craghopper ones second-hand in the xl length. Thanks all.
