How to style this dress for a wedding guest

I am attending a weding in the UK next month, I have been overseas in a warm country that is very casual for the last decade and have totally forgotten how to dress up. I have bought the dress in the picture, I'm mid 30s, size 12, have mid length red hair and a decent tan. Wedding isn't super formal, in a converted barn, rustic feel, games on the lawn etc I'm travelling over without my children for the first time and am keen to make an effort and feel good and enjoy catching up with friends and family. Any thoughs on how to style it- particularly a cover up or shrug in case it's a bit chilly

That's really lovely and with your tan and hair colour will look gorgeous. I would try and make it slightly more casual as if you dress it up too much you might end up looking like a bridesmaid. I guess a crop denim jacket would be out of the question?

A short crop biker jacket ?

Flat but lovely sandals and bright nail varnish

Maybe it's because I'm old (in MN terms) but I don't think denim works at all for a wedding.

Thanks for the suggestions, the denim jacket idea is cool but not sure I can pull it off. Thanks for the tip to dress down a bit, think I’ll go for some sparkly flats and maybe a cuff or statement bracelet

gingermary - Keep on trend in strappy gold flats, I think they would look lovely, and not too formal - like these here diamante flat sandals

Definitely a shrug or cover up maybe in maroon to contrast the dress n go with your red hair?. Dress is lovely by the way.

Thanks, I hadn't thought of maroon, I'll start hunting
