Are these nice or dated?

I’ve always loved a good wedge, but didn’t think they were really “in” anymore. Possibly because I’ve worn them for the last 13 summers.

Im impressed at how much wear you've had from them.
I think they are fine.
I don't own any wedges though!

Turnedacorner · 11/04/2018 17:52

They're lovely!

privateporcupine · 11/04/2018 18:12

Sorry Belinda, I mean I’ve worn wedges in general for so long, not these ones. That would be a bit cheeky since I’ve not even bought them yet Grin

I like Them. I think wedges like this are a classic look that doesn't 'go out'.

Bodicea · 11/04/2018 19:27

I love a good wedge. I wear them every summer but not sure about that pair. They seem a little dated. I thing its the material used on the base that looks dated and also the fact that they are black.
A nice bright colour or a chic tan/ nude would look more current.

Allthepinkunicorns · 11/04/2018 19:32

I've got wedges that are similar and will be wearing them this summer, who cares if others think they are dated. If you love them wear them with pride. I know I will Smile

I love this classic style. I would definately wear them. Who cares about 'in' or 'out'.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/04/2018 19:34

Not terribly fond of that particular pair, but I'll definitely be wearing espadrille wedges at some point this summer. Mine are black.

Baubletrouble43 · 11/04/2018 19:35

I love them but then I'm partial to a wedge esp worn with a midi length tea dress or flared skirt.

SavoyCabbage · 11/04/2018 19:37

The shops are full of them so they must be the height of style.

ChishandFips33 · 11/04/2018 19:49

I like and still wear them

Rif3121M · 11/04/2018 20:00

Love them. Wedges are so great I can wear them on grass and still have extra height since I'm a short a** haha. Plus the black will go with most floral summery outfits.

chloechloe · 11/04/2018 20:14

If you want something similar but more on trend, what about espadrilles? All the bloggers are wearing them so they must be cool or they're getting them for free.

Belindabauer · 13/04/2018 18:06

Op- ha ha I misunderstood. Thought you were doing well!
