Bag lovers: See by Chloe Hana or Chloe Marcie?

I really like the Hana saddle bag and was thinking of getting one to take away this summer. Does anyone have this bag in the small or the mini? The mini is only 1x2 inches smaller than the small, but the size difference looks more considerable than that on the pictures.

Which size would you recommend to hold a phone, purse and lipstick?

Also, if you've had one with the suede finish, how is its condition after a few uses? I'd like it to stay looking decent for at least the summer months.

OR, should I buy a Chloe mini Marcie? The price difference is about £300, and I'm worried that the style will date quite quickly making the Hana a better choice for a occasional use/holiday bag.

I would steer clear of a suede bag - it's just too delicate IMO; it'll stain if caught in the rain, will stain if touching it with greasy hands and it's close to impossible to clean. I don't like babying my bags, but I'd also be annoying if a light coloured bag got stained - and a noticeable stain would probably stop me from using the bag, which is a pity, especially at that price.

However, I think it's important to get what you love, rather than try to get a sensible alternative that you potentially don't really like.
If you protect the bag with the right products and look after it well, then it may not be an issue.

Personally, of the two, I'd get the Marcie.

There are 10+ versions of the Hana, some without the suede so that could be an option. I do love the Marcie when I've seen people wearing it, but I've never seen anyone with a Hana.
