Christening on Sunday - help me!

I’m godmother on Sunday and I need something to wear! Can anyone give me any recommendations for something I could put on for this!

I’m a dress size 14, bit of a c section mum tummy so nothing that draws attention to that. I don’t have big boobs and I’m quite well endowed in the ass department! I like a line, Audrey style or wrap dresses but will try most things to be fair. I have short dark hair - which I do think is important when buying!

I’m not a bright colours person but am fine with patterns florals etc.

Any suggestions for me!

I'm bumping this for you as I was about to post something similar! Have dragged a couple of old dresses out of storage but am not sure they're going to cut it.

I find that christenings are not that dressed up. Definitely a dress if you’re godmother but it doesn’t have to be as smart as you’d wear for a wedding (unless you know it’s going to be a particularly formal affair)

I’m really pleased with this dress I bought in Sainsburys the other day - a real bargain and would work whatever the weather.

I bought this, some espadrilles style wedges and have some ankle grazer slim fit black trousers. I couldn’t find a dress that I liked or one that didn’t break the bank that I’d wear again. Whereas I can wear this for work.

However there are some lovely dresses on here I am going to keep in mind for other upcoming events!
