Help me find a dress to wear for a wedding?

Help I'm struggling! I'm 12 weeks pregnant and whilst I've not gained weight, I've become rounder and my waist is thicker...

I'm usually a hourglass 8-10 but I now have no idea what to wear?! My existing options are too tight around my waist and make me self conscious.

Budget up to 150, I look best in bright cool colours so blues greens scarlets. I presume it's too early for maternity dresses?!

How many weeks will you be on the date of the wedding?

Nearly 13, it's this weekend. I'd left it late so I could see how much I'd expanded!

What about something in a fifties type shape? It'll hide all your lower tum expansion without it being obvious. I have this dress and it is surprisingly nice on (it doesn't look as tight on the chest as how the model wears it- is more like the pic attached) If you do like it, read the size guide measurements and by the size you measure at, I had to get a 14 even though am usually a 10/12 and it fits perfectly

Buy not by! Stupid phone!

Oh thanks! Unfortunately I don't think that's a colour I can pull off. Im very pale and fair haired.

Do you think fitted at the waist is the answer? I might try up a size, the dress I was planning on wearing is now too snug around the waist.

I think they have other colours. I think fitted higher up the waist and looser on the tummy, like the fifties shape would be a good way of doing it. Size up for comfort. You could look at the very high waisted prom type skirts they do at Coast too and wear with a matching top?

Sadly I ordered one and it didn't fit. The size up looked wrong and my usual size was too snug.Blush. My waist is clearly MIA already. Gah. Might have to show horn myself into something I already have and just accept it's too tight. Nightmare.

Ah that's a shame! Do you have anything that is empire line? (Fitted at boob then goes outwards) or a fit and flare/skater type dress? Could be worth a go.

I've got a couple of options - panic buys from oasis! Both look just about ok... I'll make a decision tomorrow, I may need to dig out my granny pants.

Thanks for those links mulberry! I might have time to dash to monsoon tomorrow am if the big pants plan doesn't work! Blush short and round is not a great look, hopefully I get an actual bump soon...
