Is there a real fattening mascara?

My eye lashes are quite long but skinny. I want a waterproof so it doesn’t smudge as my eyes water at times. I currently use max factor false lash but it isn’t thickening. Can anyone really recommend one that thickens giving an actual false lash effect that this mascara doesn’t?!

I have just bought benefit bad girl bang mascara which is brilliant.

I usually use an eyelash curler but don't need to with this as it lengthens and curls them.

And it has 36 hours of staying power if required.
And funnily enough I've just swapped it for Max factor false lash effect, and it is definitely much better and exactly what you're after.

Only one that works for me is Benefit They're Real. People always rave about their Roller Lash but it does nothing for me.

I had given up on benefit as had tried them all but haven’t tried bad girl I don’t think.... interesting you came from false lash too tant! I always revert back to it as I just can’t find a better one. It doesn’t budge though as it’s waterproof..

Collection Lash Surge is amazing.

Too faced Size Queen is my favourite for thickening lashes, isnt the best at lengthening at all though.

I bought it today after trying it out, my lashes looked amazeballs so I just had to get it.

I seem to get on best with Maybelline. Always end up back there when I wander off.

Dior Pump and Volume.

Has changed my life. Truly. My boss tried it, and when she first came in to the office I said "where have you had those done? I want some" I thought she had had at least a tint and some extra falsies put in.

Will never change again, I stockpile it.

Benefit They're Real definitely fattens, but on me it also oozed down my face in attractive panda-imitating style.

Ah see I have the dior one, is that the one you squeeze the black bit perfume? It IS amazing but it runs on me and they don’t do a waterproof version! So annoying as I love love that one!

I have recently got an IT cosmetics superhero mascara - courtesy of one of my early morning QVC purchases! It is the best mascara I have used, it looks I have false lashes on. It thickens and lengthens and not in a clumpy way.

Have you tried Bobbi Brown smokey eye mascara? I just been trying a sample and really like it. It's volumising and lengthening, but it's also very very black. The blackest mascara I've ever tried, which makes my lash line look really thick.

Volume de Chanel is my holy grail.

Bobbi brown is actually the only brand that I haven’t tried you know. Maybe I should change this.... may be leathal though

Mac is my favourite and had some samples but don’t like their mascaras...

Yes, the Dior is the squeezey one. Waterproof would make it perfection, I agree!

the loreal double extension in the red and white tube does it for me. it's also a tubing mascara so completely smudge proof.

lots what do you mean a ‘tubing mascara that makes it waterproof’?

YSL false lash effects is the best mascara ever!! The non waterproof one is better than the waterproof.

Iv recently got L'Oreal paradise mascara, it's cheap and brilliant. It's both volumising and lengthening on me and my eyelashes are like the way you have described yours

Chanel volume is the only mascara that fattens my long but sparse lashes, it doesn't clump or flake and it comes in waterproof. Cheaper volume mascaras just don't do it for me, even the YSL one in the gold tube didn't work for my spindly lashes. It's quite gloopy when you first use it so the evening before I start a new tube I leave the top unscrewed overnight, this dries it up a little bit to make the perfect consistency.

sorry llmb i missed your message. tubing mascara is a new type of technology whereby the mascara does not 'dissolve' in water so no smudging, it does loosen and slide off if you get it very wet though.
