If you have had one and generally love it but find you have had to use straighteners a bit too LET ME TELL YOU SHIT

Mine broke and stopped whizzing. CBA to wait to activate the receipt ( prob expired anyway) so I got myself a new one. ( 50mm whopper head)

OH MY GOD its so good - I think the bristles had totally gone on my old one. I have fallen back in love and no straightener shit either. I am swishing with huge sleek hair

I hav seen you can by replacement heads - has anyone done that?

WipsGlitter · 10/04/2018 15:25

Not seen that. But I think the bristles do flatten and when you get a new one you do see a difference.

AdelicaArundel · 10/04/2018 15:39

Thanks OP... I am also a fan.

I'm on my third one. I now stick the date I bought it on it and put the receipt away. Current one is coming up to 2 years old and is getting a bit flat and stuck but I'll keep it till it dies.

Has anyone tried the version with the changeable heads?

Peanutbuttercups21 · 10/04/2018 17:00

Mine has just randomly died after 2 years

Not sure I want to fork out for a new one

My straighteners are still going strong 10 years on!

Kiss I bought one on the basis of MN recommendations and I love it.

I have frizzy hair and the BBH makes it looks like a professional blow dry.

I luffs mine.

I am renowned as the only one of my friends who CBA to get a blow dry for every single get together Hmm and when I bought one I eventually had to send them all a video of me doing my hair to prove that I hadn't caved. They are almost all converted now Smile

Scabetty · 10/04/2018 17:23

Yes brilliant - my hair can frizz and flatten but BBH gives smooth bounce.

Scabetty · 10/04/2018 17:24

I have highlights too Smile but hair isn’t dry.

VladPutin · 10/04/2018 17:30

no - I dont use it for long - just schooz and zoom and we are done. No difference to hair condition at all.

ANYWAY
its not about the thing per se - its about when you get a new one you realise how shit your old one was

Queenofthedrivensnow · 10/04/2018 19:03

Can you post a pic of your hair op?

Bluelady · 10/04/2018 20:16

Thank you so much, OP. Clearly I need a new one, mine isn't producing the results it used to and I was blaming my hair!

Cosmos45 · 10/04/2018 20:20

Yes, I know what you mean about the discovery of a new one! I just recently bought a new one and wow! This is about my 5th one (in about 6 years), they definitely don’t last... although do come with a 3 year guarantee but I’ve never got the receipt when they die.. Blush

The OP has privacy concerns, so we've agreed to take this down.

Cosmos45 · 10/04/2018 20:32

They just slow down and brush seems to get looser, not as grippy and spinny.. also the bristles get flattened. I then find they stop rotating and get really slow.. it’s only when you then get a new one you realise how slowly crap the old has been for a while. The problem is a gradual decline rather than just blowing up and stopping one day.. of that makes any sense?

However, one a year is still MILES cheaper than getting a salon blow dry. My hair always looks like it’s been dried professionally when I use it. Even hairdressers say they couldn’t get much better results and I’m not any good at blow drying or straightening.

Of course if you’re good at storing boxes and receipts you can get it replaced under the guarantee

VladPutin · 10/04/2018 20:52

No photo as it rained. Hair now like Leo sayer

Totally agree Cosmo

People frequently think I've had a blow dry when I use mine!

CarpeVitam · 10/04/2018 21:02

Buy the Diamond Dual version. It's takes replacement brushes at £9.99 each. 38mm, 42 & 50. Great for when your hair is different lengths. (Comes with the 42 & 50).

Couldn't live without mine! Wink

AdelicaArundel · 10/04/2018 21:21

Aha! Carpe- that's what I wanted to know.
I've looked at that version tempted and wondered if it would be worthwhile?

Yes, my BBH is probably the one appliance I have run out and replaced
hot water bottle excepted.

I use it two ways- one is when I am rushing, I dry with my hairdryer and do the top, front section so I don't look like [http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IUYlNU10BMY/SiSWbAWGQ1I/AAAAAAAAP8k/8svtiZFJPjs/s400/weird-hairstyles-20.jpg this]].

When I have lots of time, I section and dry it from wet. That's when people think I've gone to a professional for a blowout.

AdelicaArundel · 10/04/2018 21:26

Bugger- link fail.

CarpeVitam · 10/04/2018 22:36

@AdelicaArundel

The link worked for me!! 😂

CarpeVitam · 10/04/2018 22:38

Meant to say, go for it when you need to replace yours...so worth it!

AdelicaArundel · 10/04/2018 22:52

@CarpeVitam I'm so glad- hope it didn't scare you too much. Grin

Temporaryanonymity · 10/04/2018 22:58

I love mine. But last week I decided to ditch the blow dry and dug out my diffuser and embraced my curls for the first time in years. I'm so over the blow dry now.
