Thoughts on these dresses for a Summer wedding?

I'm sick of looking now! It's my best friend's wedding in late Summer, and I have bought and returned quite a few dresses already! I'm 47, 5'7", size 12, pale with long dark hair. Are any of these OK? I suit a more classic style and hate anything frilly, sleeveless or too flowery. Honest opinions please!

I know, the colours don't really scream Summer do they? I too prefer the wrap dresses, the blue one more so than the one in wine. I so suit wrap dresses, but finding one that is summery/not frilly/has sleeves is proving to be quite difficult! I ordered a beautiful one from ASOS but it was in 'blush' and it made me look dead. They don't do it in any other colours either. Drat!

I like 3 best, and 4 least. I mean, I like 4 but it looks a bit more 'evening-y' to me than the others. I can't really see the red one as it has some 'offer' screen in front which I can't get to close

All nice though.

They are lovely, very classy. Just not summery.

What about a bardot dress?

I'm not too keen on dress 4, the rest are lovely though, I would probably go with dress 3 but you couldn't go wrong with any

I'm not keen on Bardot dresses toad because I need to wear a bra (I'm quite big up top for my frame) and preferably I'd like to wear my M&S shape wear to suck me in a bit!

I think they're all lovely dresses, but I agree with the others who have said they're more 'winter wedding'.

I think the wrap dresses look much more like summer dresses than the other two.

I don't like the red but the others are nice.
Do you know the bridesmaids colours? - just cos they're a little bridesmaidy and better not to pick the same!

I think blue is easier to wear but red can look better.

Isn't it early to buy it? For a late summer wedding you should have more choice in the shops in a month. I see stores such as Ted Baker are only just starting to get in summer collections.
