Haven’t had one of these for ages it seems

Me dark indigo skinny jeans, and a turquoise floaty top that’s also fitted quite nice with a reddish pink flower print on top

Hair down wavy/curly

Green earrings

And footwear either smart trainers or over the knee boots haven’t decided yet

And smokey eye and nice bronzer, black mascara and tightliner
And my fav mac half n half amplified lip colour

And tapue nails which is an new colour for me, which I’m not sure about the colour but does look smart

I have a newborn, so will be sporting my dark blue, bootcut jeans with a red lumberjack type shirt and green Vans. Probably accessorised with baby sick Envy (not envy).

Hair down and wavy (messy but newly washed ). Maybe some mascara and tinted lip balm. That’s about all I’ll be doing!

LardLizard · 09/04/2018 08:46

Dance, more than I managed with a newborn lovely 😘

I’m ‘dressing up’ as it’s weigh in day Grin! How sad is that?!

LardLizard · 09/04/2018 08:47

😂 do you do your weigh in day at home or at a club ?

TheQueenOfWands · 09/04/2018 08:48

A black American Horror Story hoodie and Ghostbusters knickers.

Hair still damp. No make up.

Have a hot water bottle with an owl on it to accessories.

My toenails look good though. Painted a dark jade. Rest of me could do with improvement.

LardLizard · 09/04/2018 08:49

I dress up for all sorts of weird stuff too

I do like to overdress at time though, I think if it puts a spring in your step why not
People often saying oh where are you off too
Which I’m guessing isn’t always an good thing, but what do I care

I also find even a sports of perfume can lift me a bit
😆

Spritz not sport

Dark jade nails sound good, that would probably go well with my top rather then his tapue

Burgundy wool long sleeved dress with black opaque tights, burgundy skinny belt and vintage pearl and marcasite earrings. Currently also Burberry mac and wet black ballet pumps, will swap for dry black suede courts soon Grin

DanceDisaster · 09/04/2018 08:50

No, it’s the baby being weighed, not me! Yikes, I’m not brave enough for that yet Grin.

Envious of nice toenails^^... and a little bit envious of hot water bottle too!

TheFairyCaravan · 09/04/2018 08:51

Cyberjammies blue and white checked nightshirt atm. I haven’t thought about getting dressed yet! Blush

Pinkvici22 · 09/04/2018 08:54

Love these threads!

I’m in work - black pencil dress and blazer, red heels and oxblood handbag.

LardLizard · 09/04/2018 08:55

Grin doh I didint think about the baby being weighed, my youngest is now four so I’m out of the baby years
Mind you I never really took him to be weighed as when I had my oldest the tv made me paranoid about weight gain
As dd only really gained the minimum weight gain, and the hv kept advising me to give formula
And everyone on here was telling me to keep going with ex bf
So with my youngest I just didn’t take him
As didn’t want to be made paranoid plus he just looked fine anyway 😆
The technical term for it😂

Love the sound of the burgundy wool dress and also he black pencil dress with red heels, never had red heels in my life
But there’s a mum that wears them at school as always looks amazing with her style

In work -
navy ted baker ottoman trousers,
navy and black Marco Polo ruffled t-shirt, navy boule jacket with black trim Betty Jackson
Nude ballet flats M&S
Camel coat Vivienne Westwood
Black leather tote DKNY

Nails are a state and in desperate need of manicure.

holycityzoo · 09/04/2018 09:35

I love these threads too.

Black and white hush star pj bottoms
Black h and m tshirt
White birkinstocks.

I'm having a lazy morning with the kids playing dinosaur world.

AnonymousIndividual · 09/04/2018 09:53

Just about to pop to the post office -

Black skinnies (Golddigga from Sports Direct, most comfy jeans ever)
Cream Kappa lace up canvas trainers (had these over 15 years and they refuse to wear out, despite going in the washing machine time and again)
A cream Breton top with navy stripe (I know, shoot me now, in fact shoot me twice, it's Regatta from some tourist outdoor shop in the Lake District)
And a knee length trench-style mac from M&S
All accessorised with a freebie John Lewis canvas tote, the one with the penguin, from two Christmasses ago.

I think I look nice Grin. I do have freshly washed hair and subtle make up, EL DW, Clinique mascara and neutral lipstick though.

MaudesMum · 09/04/2018 10:14

Working from home, but with builders in so don't want to look a total slob.

Green sweatshirt from Seasalt sale over old blue Cos shirt. Straight leg jeans from Fatface. Pale purple/grey desert boots (TK Maxx knock-off, not Clarks). Accessorised by cat fur (cat not enjoying building works) and little else..

bassackwards · 09/04/2018 10:28

At home with 6 month old. She's dressed in her nice new top and trousers from Newbie.

I'm in pjs and an oversized cardigan, hair a mess, cuddling my coffee mug Smile

JMAngel1 · 09/04/2018 11:20

Well I stupidly felt spring like today - sun shining but gosh it's still chilly. So I finally ditched my belted wool robe coat and I'm wearing a white silky shirt, high waist mid blue jeans, a grey loose blazer, grey western ankle boots and a MJ tan leather cross body bag. I look nice for cinema trip with DDs but I'm freezing!!
I got carried away as had lovely caramel blonde balayage done at weekend and got a gorgeous new lipstick - NYX Shanghai matte lip cream - best lip colour I've had in forever (NC25, green eye, warm caramel brunette for reference).
But think I'll be wrapping up tomorrow.

JMAngel1 · 09/04/2018 11:24

Yes you're so right about the baby weighing - I took first DD religiously but didn't bother with DD2 as common sense tells you if they really need monitoring. It's a nice bonding experience to meet other new mum's though first time around. Second time around, you haven't got time to meet any new friends!!

AndAlongCameABadger · 09/04/2018 11:25

Jeggins, wellies and a hoody - doing gardening.

Dandellion · 09/04/2018 11:48

Red & white stripped, batwing top from Hobbs. Distressed girlfriend jeans from Gap. White All Stars. Silver Star ear climbers from Mint Velvet. Full make up.

Going for a pedicure later, can't wait to have pretty feet again.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/04/2018 11:50

I'm slobbing in:
M&S skinny combat trousers - v faded black
long line black vest - H&M
pale pink jumper -Cos
When I go out I will add:
black biker jacket - Oasis
red low top Converse
red scarf - Whistles

This is VERY colourful for me!

YouCantCallMeBetty · 09/04/2018 13:35

Ooh exciting! I'm wearing:
New black Nike dual tone racers with a gold tick -super comfy
Faded black next skinnies
Grey breastfeeding vest fromH&M
Pale pink jumper from H&M
Black waterproof coat from somewhere I can't remember but it's comfy and long so keeps the tops of my legs dry Smile
No jewellery or accessories apart from wedding & engagement rings as I rushed out of the house today to get back in time for the electrician who has yet to turn up...
