Eyebrow waxing problem

So a few times when I’ve had my eyebrows waxed I’ve had small tears in the skin. It happened a couple of times before (but not every time) then I went on roaccutane for a year so didn’t have any waxing at all. It’s now a year since I finished the medication but I’ve had waxing twice and it’s happened both times. It isn’t the same person doing the waxing. Is it something they’re doing wrong or is it just my skin? It’s not bad but takes about a week to settle after the wax so isn’t ideal.

Have you tried having them threaded instead? Might be a bit gentler. I think they still don't recommend it for a while after roaccutane but after a year I would have thought it should be OK.

I normally just pluck my own. I did have mine threaded for my wedding without issue but that wasn't until about 2.5 years after stopping.

Once this has happened once you are more prone to it. As speedy said what about trying threading?

Threading does this too - I get mine threaded every month. It's usually the beautician who is in a hurry.

I've only ever had damage after threading

I used to get them threaded before but there’s no one local to me who does it now- never had a problem with threading. I guess the skin is delicate where it’s happened before but I left it 8 weeks between waxes this time so thought that would give it chance to heal. Hmm, annoying!

If i get mine threaded near my period then i get that skin damage - bloody painful. make sure you do it mid cycle
