Over the last year I've bought quite a bit from joules but right now can't find anything I like....at 40 have i just outgrown it?

I find Joules very samey now and a bit tired. Also the quality has nose dived in recent years. I keep hoping for something new but perhaps they were a one trick pony?

TokyoSushi · 07/04/2018 17:24

Yes same here. I used to but quite w lot but feel like I've got what I wanted and there's not really anything new

Butterfly1975 · 07/04/2018 18:21

The collections over the last year or so have been deadly dull! Saying that I get loads of compliments on my Joules raincoat. Just wish they'd move away from the endless floral prints and stripes!

BakerBear · 07/04/2018 18:25

There are some nice stuff but once you have bought one item then if you buy another it looks very similar.

Everything is stripes and flowers on the same item.

They are very distincitve clothing and i can spot a joules item on someone straightaway

Nightmanagerfan · 07/04/2018 18:28

I think they have one very distinctive look and have never moved on from it. I have some gorgeous wellies and I love my yellow Joules raincoat, but I think that’s more of a classic item? I wouldn’t buy anything from their current range.

Aw12345 · 07/04/2018 18:31

I agree that the quality is sadly lacking now :-( shame as I do like their stuff.

clothcollector · 07/04/2018 18:48

love the stripey stuff and regularly buy the variants. everything else is a bit pricey, like £65 for a blouse that i could buy for £20 in sainsburys.

GreyHare · 07/04/2018 21:45

I think they have lost their way a little I have only brought one or two bits in the last year or so, whereas a few years ago I wanted everything, I have switched my love over to Seasalt as their striped tops are far more flattering on me than the Joules Harbour ones which cling to my fat belly. I still have undying love for my waterproof coats and tweed blazer from joules though.

The only things I buy from Joules now are the Rosamund pop-over style shirt (from eBay, if possible, otherwise they're £60 at a time) and floaty scarves. Everything else is a bit twee now, or I think would be unflattering on my loose tummy.

PaulHollywoodsleftbollockhair · 11/12/2018 14:15

Isn’t it aimed at Mary Berry’s age group?

Roobub · 11/12/2018 19:04

The patterned raincoats are brilliant, I get loads of compliments on mine. The rest of the stuff is pretty dull though.
