I want to like it, but the proportions look somehow wrong.

McDougal · 07/04/2018 16:47

I don't think it's all that flattering on the model but I'm not sure why. Definite spring colour though.

Bluntness100 · 07/04/2018 16:48

I think it's ok. It's not offensive, but I wouldn't say wow either.

Jon66 · 07/04/2018 16:50

Yuk, for 149 pounds there are dresses out there that don't look cheap. Sorry.

yikesanotherbooboo · 07/04/2018 16:52

It doesn't suit the model which makes it hard to like.
If you have lovely warm colouring and you think the shape would suit?

DextroDependant · 07/04/2018 16:52

I am not keen on the beige underneath and think it would be nicer with white under.

MrsGorilla · 07/04/2018 16:53

Not keen. The lines on it seem to pull the eye in all directions.

DanceDisaster · 07/04/2018 16:57

Was just about to say, as pps already have, that it really doesn’t suit the model. It’s very boxy and somehow looks to me like it’s showing too much flesh, although everything is clearly well covered. Not very keen. Have to tried it on? On someone very petite it might look better.

Bluntness100 · 07/04/2018 16:59

Oh I didn't spot the price. I don't think it looks 149 pounds worth. I assumed about forty quid.

WhiskeySourpuss · 07/04/2018 17:09

I liked it until I got to the full length pic as a pp said the proportions seem wrong

MorningsEleven · 07/04/2018 17:10

Is it the colour or the lace you like?

Strax · 07/04/2018 17:14

Hmm not that keen. I think the beige underlayer is what puts me off.

JesusTapdancingChrist · 07/04/2018 17:18

The nude under layer looks all wrong.

Also don't like the colour or the shape and would, frankly, rather shit in my hands and clap than pay £150 for 100% polyester.

CuppaTeaAndAJammieDodger · 07/04/2018 17:18

I don’t like the beige underneath either.

Bimbaloo · 07/04/2018 17:18

I don't think a whole lot of it. Doesn't even do much for the model. Yellow is a tricky colour to pull off though, and it may suit someone with a much darker skin tone.

Bimbaloo · 07/04/2018 17:20

Oh and it's polyester. Big thumbs down in that case.

Pickybrow · 07/04/2018 17:20

I think oasis bring a similar one out soon, or have they have done for the past 2 years anyway. I got it in pink and got lots of compliments.

Time40 · 07/04/2018 17:20

Seriously, seriously horrible. Sorry.

LardLizard · 07/04/2018 17:22

I think it’s the colour attracting me

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 07/04/2018 17:23

I think it would look ok if you are super skinny.
I really wanted to love this. Love yellow. Love lace. But I really don't love this dress. Sorry op.

zukiecat · 07/04/2018 17:31

I think it's a lovely dress

Only downside for me is the colour as I don't like yellow, but the dress itself is gorgeous

youarenotkiddingme · 07/04/2018 17:47

Totally agree it doesn't suit the models shape. The bodice seems to short on her.

It's not horrible - not £149 worth though imo!

I also think it will not hide any lumps or bumps and will be very unforgiving.

I guess your colouring would also have to be right to pull off the colour - which I actually love!

CakeInMyFace · 07/04/2018 18:01

I actually bought this dress for a wedding and it does look so much better than it does online. Its actually a really stunning dress on. I am a petite size 8 though and hit above my knee. I am returning it as decided it doesn't suit the occasion but it is worth a try!

MeanTangerine · 07/04/2018 18:09

I think for 150 quid you could do a lot better. Some of the patterns in the lace are pretty, but pure polyester Envy I also think it makes the 5' 9", size 8 model look like she has a bit of a tummy, which is no mean feat.
