Pencil, powder? I currently use a NYX pencil but not totally satisfied, I don't like my eyebrows too 'in your face' so to speak but want something that is fairly easy to use and lasts all day. What do people recommend?

I bought a rimmel power, in a little tube with a sponge applicator. It's very fine powder but it's far too harsh and dark for me, even though I have v dark hair. I've gone back to a pencil and my eyebrows are a bit patchy.

I have a brown pencil with a comb at one end, think it's Rimmel .I only use it if I'm going out . I have bald spots a Nd the odd grey hair so it just covers these up. I hate the caterpillar look

Have you seen the new loreal tattoo pen? It's like a little forked marker pen which makes hair like strokes. Have a look at the videos on YouTube. I'm very tempted to try it. I've just bought Anastasia dip brow which is really good.

I’ve recently started using the Estée Lauder tinted brow gel. It’s great - natural and lasts all day. It’s easy to apply, much easier than powder or pencil which I always mess up, it’s just like a small mascara brush. I wipe the excess off the brush before I use it though otherwise it’d be too thick. I think there’s six different shades.

Which NYX pencil are you using just now? I love their taupe micro brow one... moved to it from ABH Brow Wiz and have just bought the Revolution makeup version to try and see if I can cut the cost even further Grin

Ive tried the rimmel pencil found that ok, not sure if its the pencils or the way im doing my brows they just never look good. No i havent seen the loreal tattoo pen, will have a look at that, also heard about the Anastasia dip brow will check this out also.

So the brow gel by estee lauder are you able to create the shape you want? I can't imagine it.

The micro brow pencil is the one I'm using Taco - its ok but I'm just not totally happy with it but like I said above perhaps it's me & the way im doing my brows. Confused

I’m using the IT cosmetics universal eyebrow pencils, it’s good, neutral brown and lasts all day

Tom Ford brow perfector is so easy to use and the only thing I buy again and again. I have really sparse brows and it makes them look normal.

princessbear80 · 06/04/2018 23:07

No, you’re right, you can’t really create a new shape with the brow gel, just define what’s already there. So might not be for you if that’s what you need.

Benefit goof proof. It's well, goof proof on my super blond brows!

MinaPaws · 07/04/2018 11:25

I use Rimmel tinted gel. It's subtle at colouring and keeps the definition natural looking, and the gel keeps them the shape you want.

Benefit gimme brow. Also use revitabrow for conditioning and growth.
