Work Bag

Hi all

I was hoping you could help me out with recommendations for a new 'work bag'. I work in a few different places, so have to be able to carry all the essentials with me (laptop, change of shoes, lunch + usual odds and ends) and my current one is struggling! It also has to be smart enough for a corporate office.

Got a budget of around £100 - any suggestions would be very appreciated!

I saw some lovely ones in M&S yesterday which are worth checking out.

It was their large shopper bags I was drawn to.

Ooh I'll have a look now!

I carry similar to you and now lug two around to spread the weight...one for laptop/charger/notebooks/lunch etc and a smaller one (often cross body) for purse/phone/keys/make up

For the workhorse; I like Fossil but also have a leather Clarks one that's doing a sterling job with the weight it has to hold

Longchamp Pliage might be worth a look too - not sure if corporate enough though

I do have a Longchamp Pliage for holidays etc - and its great size-wise but I like a bit more compartmentalising at work for all the silly fiddly IT bits etc! Will have a look at Fossil and Clark.

Does anyone have any experience of Knomo?

I love my Knomo bag!! DH got his and I developed bag envy, so when my old one finally gave out, I got myself a smaller version than his, to stop me from packing the kitchen sink. Mine won't fit a pair shoes, but fits everything else, including a small flat water bottle. I like how the bags wear - they don't get tacky, DH's has been around the world a few times over the years and still looks lovely. If you need to carry multiple cords/chargers, I would suggest going for the bigger bag, as the smaller one's internal pockets are too shallow to contain multiple bulky cords.

I have an osprey tote from tkmaxx, it's great!

I've just bought the 15" Knomo. It's devine.. It can hold a sizeable laptop, iPad, docs. It wouldn't fit shoes though unless they were flat ballet pumps.

I can spell divine. I promise.

I love my Knomo backpack. It takes everything, including my 13inch laptop. Very well made.

Also love my Knomo backpack (Beauchamp, I think?).

There were two sizes available when I bought it. I went for the normal size but there was one with two zips that could carry all the things you mention.

Can't recommend it enough, and I get so many compliments on it. Very smart for corporate, and actually helps to smarten me up if I'm wearing a more casual outfit.
