Please help me find a new perfume

I love Jean Paul Gaultier Classiqe and I've worn it for years. I bought a new bottle and I'm sure the scent has changed, it's not as strong or as sweet. My new and old bottles are both EDT but the new perfume is paler.

If I love Classique, what else would I like?

Thanks!

Have you tried the JP classique intense? It's really lovely. I also love prada candy

Look at notes of the perfume on Fragrantica and then search other perfume sharing these notes on their search option on the sidebar.

I know it's cheap but Britney Spears fantasy is really nice, its a vanilla base but with spicy tones overlaying it

Thanks all.

Cheap is good, especially when I have 2 large bottles of Classique that smell nothing like the last one! I was looking at the Britney Spears range, so I’ll try Fantasy.

I’ve been looking on the Perfume Shop website and I’m amazed how many of the perfumes from my younger days are still available. I felt quite sad that I’m now too old for Tommy Girl!

Your old bottles has aged - the perfume will get darker, and the scent will become deeper and sweeter. It is a natural process if the perfume contains vanilla. The new bottle is fresh, so will appear to be less deep, but it will age the same way with time.

Oooh, I really hope so! Will it age more if I leave it in the daylight rather than in the cupboard? I want it to smell like my old one!
