What is everyone wearing as it gets a little warmer?

I’m stumped when the weather goes from biblical rain and storms to a forecast of 18 degrees and sunshine tomorrow!

What types of outfits/shoes are you all wearing?

Skinny jeans/cropped jeans, top nice sandals with heels showing off my lovely feet :)

Skirt and top with sandals no leggings

CountFosco · 05/04/2018 19:10

Well I'm going to wear merino rather than cashmere lives in the north

GreyHare · 05/04/2018 19:12

Jeans or Harem pants with a long sleeved t shirt usually stripy and ankle boots when it's a little warmer sandals instead of boots.

Pigwitch · 05/04/2018 19:22

I've switched from boots to Adidas retro pumps but apart from that pretty much the same as before, jeans and a top. I want to lose a little weight before buying spring/summer stuff.

PretABoire · 05/04/2018 19:26

I have no idea. All I seem to own is jumpers. I have the only sunny desk in my office and am sweating already, starting to panic about real summer! (I have nothing useful to say - placemarking)

hammeringinmyhead · 05/04/2018 19:29

It was warm here today. I wore grey jeans, a purple t shirt, purple checked shirt and tan ankle boots. Similar to winter but lighter colours!

Tomorrow will be ankle grazer jeans, red loafers, and a stripy top.

Harebellmeadow · 05/04/2018 19:30

A boden rainy day Mac - fleece lined, hooded and water repellent. An old one from a few years ago with a lovely pattern. I still love it. Still wearing lined wellies, or sorel “uggs”, which are less warm than the super warm winter boots.

thefirstmrsdewinter · 05/04/2018 19:49

It's so tricky isn't it? Today because it was dry I wanted to wear a new pair of ankle boots, but I didn't prepare for how warm it was and was absolutely steaming in my coat and double layers all day. (Lol, double layers is like two fewer layers than usual so I guess I tried.)

I suspect I'll be able to expose my ankles but still not warm enough for toes.

Passthepinotquickly · 05/04/2018 20:49

I hate the transition! Never sure what to wear with the changeable weather!

LanguidLobster · 05/04/2018 20:51

Same just no coat

halfwitpicker · 05/04/2018 21:06

Cannot wait to wear skirts and sandals for work. Need to de fuzz though. Will be wearing capris and Birkenstocks at weekends.

Strongbeatsskinny · 05/04/2018 21:31

Light coloured skinny jeans, cotton flowery top can’t wear blouses as boobs to big. On my feet either suede converse have a few different colours in them. Light weight jacket or denim one.

stoneagemum · 05/04/2018 21:43

Swapped from thermal tights to 40denier, dropped the thermal vest underlayer, and swapped winter coat for lighter weight jacket

Felt bloody cold this morning!

LoniceraJaponica · 05/04/2018 21:49

12 degrees here tomorrow. Where is it going to be 18 degrees?

phoolani · 05/04/2018 21:59

Oh, I love transitional weather! I can still wear my big scarfs and keep nice and warm if it gets a bit cold and still look weather appropriate as long as I bare an ankle.

hugoagogo · 05/04/2018 22:01

I may stop wearing my thermals.

Glug44 · 05/04/2018 22:05

Dress, leggings, boots, coat. It’s always cold at 6am and 8pm (the times I travel) no matter jhow hot it is the rest of the day.

Bluntness100 · 05/04/2018 22:09

God knows. It's been winter for ever . I'm feeling thoroughly confused.

Yesterday going out wore navy skinnies from markies, navy light weight jumper from Hobbs, and still shoved my ASOS black ankle boots on. But donned olive green leather jacket from Hugo boss that I got in the sale at half price and love, but haven't been able to wear due to shitty weather,,so wore that instead of usual heavy winter one. I was bloody cold coming home at night.

I guess light weight long sleeve tshirts for awhile, not ready to lose the boots yet, before moving into sleeveless tops and flip flops. Work will be usual, trouser suits, sleeveless tops under a suit jacket. No winter coat. Heeled, shoes instead of boots.

SukiTheDog · 05/04/2018 22:15

We had a sunny but this afternoon and then it went bloody cold again. There’s no way to dress for the chaneability at the moment. You’re either too hot or too cold. That’s it.

peonylover22 · 05/04/2018 22:40

I swapped my navy wool winter coat for a navy wool blazer Grin

madamedepoppadom · 05/04/2018 22:51

Today i was wearing a blue and white long-sleeved stripy top, blue jeans, white converse-alikes, and when I was outside, a short trench with a blue and orange leafy pattern.

AnnabelleLecter · 05/04/2018 23:17

I have three coats that I'm wearing on and off depending on the weather.
Today was short wax jacket.
Ankle boots instead of UGG boots
Thinner jumper with just a single t-shirt under.
No thermal tights under my jeans.
Only one pair of gloves for walking the dogs.
I rather shed winter clothes slowly than be too cold.

JaceLancs · 05/04/2018 23:37

I am currently wearing merino instead of cashmere too, have swapped wool coat for short trench coat and if it gets warmer will swap boots for pointy flats
Next stage will be thin blouses with light weight cardigans
Then blouses
Finally if we have a summer - sleeveless tops

RickOShay · 06/04/2018 07:50

Mmm. No thermal, shorter wool jacket, woolly rather than thermal socks, lighter cashmere jumper, no gloves and lighter scarf.
Can’t say I was sweaty Grin
but I am in norfolk.

RickOShay · 06/04/2018 07:51

And old Grin
