Would you wear rope soled wedges for a wedding?

I'd normally wear more traditional courts as it's a formal occasion, but I've seen a pair of wedges in the right colour that would
a) be more comfortable
b) I'd be more likely to wear again.

Im tempted...

I would wear them.
Get what is comfy and you like. Any friend who gets over a pair of nice shoes vs super formal shoes wouldn't be that nice.
