Jeans! Cheap! Modern looking! Suitable for a size 12/14!

I need to buy a new pair of jeans for my holiday, I love jeans and my trusty faithfuls have split.

I usually wear skinnies but would like a slightly looser cut so that I can roll them up without looking like Rosie the Riveter. Or ankle length.

A 'summer jean' if you will!!

Need to NOT be low waisted as I am 50+ with a slight muffin top.

I can get to: M and S, Topshop, H and M, Tesco, River Island, Primark

I just got a lovely jeans from H&M for £8.99. They are high/mid waist and ankle length. I loved them!!!

I like Next for jeans. They have a good range of styles, mostly higher waisted (which I also appreciate) and they are cheap. Well, most of them are, anyway.

Sainsburys

I know this is not on your list, but online or worth a trip further afield.

Like Bikerunski says Sainsburys do the best jeans-all styles & £15 or 25% off promotion in stores.

I HATE low waisted jeans (as I have a really long body, and they feel so uncomfortable) and I love Next’s ‘Enhancer’ style. I’m a similar dress size to you, and 5’ 6”.

I know Next isn’t on your list, but worth a try if you can get there / order online.

I would have suggested M&S relaxed skinnies which are a gorgeous cut for size 12-14 and look good rolled up. But I haven't seen them in stock this year. You could try the high waisted style they bravely call Mum jeans . I'm currently in H&M dark indigo skinnies that feel great, look good with a turn up and cost only £8.99 - short term until weight loss.

All my jeans are now Primark high waist skinny jeans. They are about £10 a pair and come in lots of colours. Super comfy and last well.

Jamie jeans from Topshop are great for n ankle-length choice.

They do a mix of sizes and cuts/rises.

They wear well and don't lose their shape.

You need M&S relaxed slim jeans £25. I just replaced my skinnies with these and I wear them rolled up just above the ankle. They are a midrise fit, very comfy.

M and Co have good ones if you can get there?

I have these and they are v flattering. They're a relaxed skinny but I think are slightly more like a slim taper/mom fit. Nice high waist as well.
