Anyone know the % retinol in this? I don't think it can be that strong and looking to move up to a higher %.

I have used this and it does make a difference, but not sure of % of retinol, you could google their website it should tell you,it is really nice though

Hi, below is from their website. I started using RR about 4wks ago now & I’ve really noticed an improvement in my skin. I do also use Superdrug Glycolic pads in the morning aswell so it might be a combination of both! I started using RR just 2/3 times a week but have since increased to most evenings.

Retinol Reface:
– 1% next generation retinoid fluid: Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate formulated with the penetration enhancer Dimethyl Isosorbide
– 1% short & long-term time release retinol complex: Encapsulated retinol
– 3% retinol-like peptide: Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7

I couldn't find that. Is that an OK strength? Might keep using it till the Autumn then go up in the Winter.

I’m no expert on Retinol (sure there are some on here though!). It’s made a noticeable difference to my skin & seems happy with me applying every evening. I’m sticking with it as I’ve got 2 more tubes to get through (stocked up as it’s on offer in Boots).

SukiTheDog · 04/04/2018 20:23

I bought it on that offer in Boots too! I use at night and them use spf 25-40, next day. It did make my cheeks sting a bit so, I now use every other night.

I was just looking at this earlier on boots website.
I have ok skin but it is a bit bumpy under the skin not spotty as such and can be a bit blotchy do you think this will clear that up?

Fullfatlatte · 05/04/2018 12:44

Bluefrontdoor I’m sure it will help but possibly in conjunction with Glycolic acid pads am. I use a pad after cleansing in the morning & use the retinol in the evening. I’m sure both have contributed to how my skin is now. I use the Glycolic pads from Superdrug (also have the ones from Aldi to try). You’ll need an SPF of 30 or above 😀

Bluefrontdoor · 05/04/2018 16:13

Thanks fullfatlatte I have started using the glycolic pads the Aldi ones I’m prob about 3weeks in using them once sometimes twice a day, I’m not sure I’m looking much better 😫 I think I will give this a shot and see what happens

Fullfatlatte · 05/04/2018 19:40

Bluefrontdoor. Perhaps give the Superdrug ones a try. I purchased them as they came highly recommended on a thread here, £5.99 a pot but they often have this range on BOGOF. I pinched a trick from Caroline Hirons by keeping the pot upside down so the pad you take out is saturated! Love her!! Hope it works for you 😀

lovemylover · 05/04/2018 22:03

Superdrug glycolic pads are on offer at the moment at £2-99, i bought some on tuesday

Fullfatlatte · 05/04/2018 23:05

Lovemylover. Thanks...I’ll be stocking up at the weekend then! 😀
