Skinny jeans and socks??

My wardrobe staple is basically skinny jeans and a loose / batwing top. I have been wearing (ankle) boots all winter but they are so old they need binning. I want to wear trainers (superga) but what do I do about the sock situation?? I have been known to wear pop socks (and do for work with heels) but I love the comfort of a sock.

What shoe goes with skinny jeans and allows me to wear socks?? Needs to be flat too (No ballet pumps - feet already ruined by them!!). Can I wear trainers with a funky sock??

I always wear trainer liners or invisible socks with skinnies and any type of shoe just because I find it more comfy than having longer sock under tight jeans.
Seems to be what most people I know do as well.

I wear socks. Make a little turn up of the jeans cuff. Then I can choose crazy socks!

I like the crazy socks idea! I'd love to wear trainer socks but they always seem to slip off my heels and bunch up under my feet. Am I buying the wrong ones??

Op I had the same problem. I now only buy Sheec trainer socks. They come in sizes (I have big feet and having the correct size means they don't constantly get holes in the toes) and have a silicone pad on the heel, which keeps them from slipping off.

Thanks mrsdewinter, have just ordered those!

I wear Sketchers trainer socks which don't slip off due to silicone pads on the heel.

I wear glittery socks or brightly coloured socks and let them show. But I'm fast approaching the age where I don't give a shit

I'll try the trainer socks, and some bright ones for cold days!
