Plus size tights

Hi

Where is the best place for plus size tights (to fit size 18 with a fat bottom and a bit of a belly)?

I'm looking for 80 denier minium in black, must be comfortable and with a long body if poss that doesn't roll down.

Have a few nice summer dresses but don't want to wear leggings with them but need to cover my legs (due to psoriasis).

I used to get the xl ones from Dorothy Perkins but they don't seem to fit as well anymore and I spend most of my day hiking them back up.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Boots are good and don’t roll down. Ditto Tesco. I found that M & S used to roll or fall down all the time, but then I started to buy the L instead of the XL and the problem was solved! Sainsbury’s are also good.

Primark tights are really good for larger people as they’re really long in the body. I was a size 18 and they were the only ones I would wear without them rolling down.

I found 60 ish denier from asda in size 20. They look great and fit is very comfortable and they were long enough, so I got no problems with a gusset halfway down my legs Grin

I surprisingly found Boots XL good for fitting well and not rolling down. I'm same size and description as you. M&S come down for me

I recently discovered Asda tights - am a tall size 18 & they’re BRILLIANT!

I love Tescos.

Sainsbury’s XXL. 100 denier. Just don’t tumble dry.

These are brilliant

Not exactly haute couture but the Asda tights are brilliant.

Sweetpea55 · 02/04/2018 06:09

I found M&S tights had an unpredictable gusset,,,either it slid down or developed holes.
Iv bought some from Evans online..they worked great, im going to try ASDA,

I’ll second Sainsbury’s XL tights. I’m an 18, and 5’9”, and their 80 denier tights are great, and last ages if washed well. I wear them as have scars on my right leg from surgery, and these tights hide them well. There is currently 25% off at Sainsbury’s TU range, includes the tights, until the end of today (2nd April).

Sainsburys tights are excellent as are primark ones. I'm a 22-24 and get them or mysassi ones off ebay.

DontCallMeCharlotte · 02/04/2018 13:25

A lot of small convenience shops stock tights from a company called Silkies. They're really nice and the sizes are good.

MrsSchadenfreude · 02/04/2018 13:31

What is it with M & S tights rolling down? I have some plaques from about three years ago and they fit perfectly, don’t roll down at all, and the gusset has not gone into holes.

Reiltin · 02/04/2018 13:37

I find Evans tights good.

Ollivander84 · 02/04/2018 13:40

Big tights company

AuditAngel · 02/04/2018 14:07

I'm a size 20, I live Tesco Magic tights in XL, supposed to lift your bum Hmm but main thing is they don't roll down
