Is there such a thing (sunscreen related)

as a non-chemical SPF50 sunscreen for the face (only) that is also a primer and a good moisturiser?

I've used Clinique City block for decades but I really don't like the sfp40 as it's quite brown and changes my foundation colour (I'm pale.)

I've tried Bare Minerals Primer spf 50 but it's very oily.
I've tried LRP spf 50
I've just bought Kiehls spf50 for the face and it's oily.

Is there any decent primer that is also spf50?

What about the Laura Mercier one- spf50? Is it tinted (brown tube.)

And is you use daily sunblock do you use moisturiser under it too? They are all quite oily.

I use Heliocare and it's oil free and doesn't make me break out and I use it under make up.

I use Body Shop Skin Defence spf50. Don't know if it meets your chemical free criteria but it's very light and good under makeup.

I am currently using the bare minerals one but it is slightly too dark for me. Other ones on my list to try are avene mineral sun fluid and derma e natural mineral sunscreen but that one is only spf 30. I've also got the bioderma photoderm mineral I personally don't find that too greasy but my skin tends to be on the dry side of normal. If you find a great one please come back and update!!

I second the Body Shop Skin Defense, lovely and light, good base for makeup, no white cast. Also not sure re chemical or physical though.

The body shop one is chemical!

Chemical?!! As opposed to?

I use this one www.cultbeauty.co.uk/thank-you-farmer-sun-project-water-sun-cream-spf50.html

What about Vichy: www.escentual.com/vichy/vichysuncare14/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpMLShfSY2gIVr73tCh00cwQiEAQYBCABEgKDhvD_BwE
(ingredients listed on this site, but it is sold in many other places too)
As far as I can tell it's a physical sunscreen.

There are different versions - some are mattifying and some are more velvety for dry skin (I assume that means they are a bit more hydrating).

A few weeks ago, I bought the Vichy SPF50 BB cream (www.escentual.com/vichy/sun/face/spf-50and/vichysuncare20/ ) and the face and body SPF50 milk (300ml tube from lookfantastic - but escentual is cheaper right now), as well as a Vichy SPF50 stick that I was planning on using on my lips.

I've used the bb cream once, and it seems really nice. I have normal skin, oily t-zone but I went for the BB cream for dry/normal skin as I don't want a matte finish.

I've previously used Clinique City Block which I loved, but I wanted to try something cheaper, and LRP anthelios for acne prone skin which ruined my skin completely.

Usually I use moisturiser under SPF, but it depends on the product. I can't say if the Vichy one is good under makeup yet. Might give it a go tomorrow.
