Split toenails

Is there any otc product or trick I can try to disguise a split toenail?

It’s split right down and grows with the split in it.

I know you can have toenails taken off but I’d really rather not do this. I just want pretty toes when I wear sandals (I know not likely any time soon but I’m hoping if I start now they’ll be presentable for summer!)

I had an acrylic tip and gel nails put on over a badly broken nail and that made it look as good as new.

The podiatrist I saw said I could glue it together with superglue? Although I've never tried it
