would you wear these if you're in your 40's?

OP posts:
WatchingFromTheWings · 30/03/2018 21:19

I'm 42. It's a no from me I'm afraid! 🙈

Aprilmightmemynewname · 30/03/2018 21:19

46 + nope.
Prob fall off them!!

Justgivemesomepeace · 30/03/2018 21:21

Nope and not because of my age.

MistyMinge · 30/03/2018 21:21

I'm sorry OP but they look like they're part of a fancy dress outfit. No way I'd wear those.

randommmmmmmmmmm · 30/03/2018 21:22

Nope x

Celticlassie · 30/03/2018 21:22

No, but can't see young person wearing them. They're made for older 'wacky' dressers I'd say.

Celticlassie · 30/03/2018 21:23

a young person.

TheMasterNotMargarita · 30/03/2018 21:23

I'm all for edgy but MY EYES!!!!.
Buy some more BlueUggs Grin.

DeadButDelicious · 30/03/2018 21:23

Not in my 40's (35) but I would wear the heck out of those! If you like them, get them. Bugger what anyone else thinks. Life is too short for boring shoes if you ask me!

Awrite · 30/03/2018 21:24

Jesus Christ, no.

And, I'm a woman in her forties. I dress on the young side. Mind you, young people wouldn't wear those either.

HonkyWonkWoman · 30/03/2018 21:27

Ok for teenagers I suppose but they are really odd shoes.

JessieMcJessie · 30/03/2018 21:27

No. They look like something the Spice Girls were wearing in 1993.

Laiste · 30/03/2018 21:27

Wear whatever makes you happy (as long as you're not breaking decency laws) because no matter what you wear there will always be someone thinking you look fab right next to someone else thinking you look awful. Give up trying to please anyone except yourself and enjoy life.

Thebluedog · 30/03/2018 21:27

45 - no, but I don’t rhink I’d have worn them any age

DairyisClosed · 30/03/2018 21:29

I would never wear these at any age (23 at the moment).

calzone · 30/03/2018 21:30

Absolutely not

HeadingForSunshine · 30/03/2018 21:32

Nope. Or at any age.

Wh0KnowsWhereTheT1meG0es · 30/03/2018 21:33

No, and wouldn't have at any age.

thenightsky · 30/03/2018 21:34

They look like some thing Elton John would have worn in the 70s.

CountFosco · 30/03/2018 21:35

I'm 47 and I have been thinking about getting some flatforms for a while. I quite like them but they aren't the nicest flatforms I've seen. I prefer these.

SandAndSea · 30/03/2018 21:36

You could look like Lurch in these. I think it's unlikely they'd look good.

butternutsquashe · 30/03/2018 21:36

No. How desperate.

SandAndSea · 30/03/2018 21:38

I like those too, Count.

Luckingfovely · 30/03/2018 21:39

No, no, no and no. Good grief.

blueskyinmarch · 30/03/2018 21:39

My DD would love them. She is 20.
