Can anyone point me in the right direction of getting hold of retinol? The proper stuff not the kind found in boots etc

The ordinary do retinols of different strengths, very cheap too

Fosterdog123 · 30/03/2018 20:22

I think the best is obagi/zo but it's mega bucks.

I'm having great results with Indeed Labs, which was on offer in BOOTS really £13.

The Ordinary is cheap but it had zero effect on my skin.

I think you need to get a private prescription from a dermatologist

Fullfatlatte · 30/03/2018 22:59

I second Retinol Reface by Indeed. A recommendation from Caroline Hirons (love her!). I also purchased from Boots as it was on offer at £13, I’ve since purchased another 2 to stock up. I’ve been impressed so far 😀

Thanks, but I do want the prescription strength stuff. I always stock up when on continent, can buy it over counter there but I'm running out and no plans to get away just yet.

It's tretinion Kettrel cream 0.05% that I use

Is it this one? I think you can buy it on line.

Someone told me you could get the prescription strength in Spain, as it happens my son lives in Spain and got me some,
My other son is visiting this week and is bringing me 4 tubes back for me my sister and niece
If i had seen your post before he got them i would have got an extra one for you,
The cost is around £16 in English money
It is called Retirides in Spanish,

If you want Tretwhy didn't you say you can buy it on eBay. I have and it's fine.
