I am clueless, how would i style this dress?

Can anyone help me figure out how to style this dress please?
Im thinking black heels. Closed front. Like i mentioned on my previous thread, i usually wear black.
I thought, the black would make it look a bit more me, and the theme is black, white and blush. With bits of gold. Should add it is for my wedding. Idealy cheap as possible, ill probably never wear this stuff again and if its cheap it can end up in dds dress up box.
Im thinking of having hair up in a messy fancy bun, not the everyday messy bun i usually wear.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Im not going for a traditional bride look btw i want a casual relaxed wedding. Im not the girly girl type and dresses and heels are so far away from normal for me. I want to look like me but just a bit more done up. I did buy some nice stacking rings in gold and a colour that is somewhere between blush and nude. Im just not sure how to bring my usual style into it. OH said no to my biker boots and leather jacket.

I think a closed toe back shoe will not look right at all, OP, sorry. It will look clunky and heavy with the delicate shade/fabric of the dress.

The gold strappy-style sandal on the model is probably about right.

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 30/03/2018 19:09

Just seen your update OP. How about a flat gladiator style sandal instead?

MaryPoppinsStoleMyHandbag · 30/03/2018 19:10

Agree with above poster - you need a gold strappy shoe. Or rose gold. Definitely not black closed shoe.

Millipedewithherfeetup · 30/03/2018 19:11

Also think closed black shoes will be too heavy for this dress. Sandals in silver/rose gold or gold would be much nicer.

joystir59 · 30/03/2018 19:12

Wear your hair up. Beautiful elegant silver bangle and necklace. Ditto earrings.

joystir59 · 30/03/2018 19:13

Silver sandals.

joystir59 · 30/03/2018 19:13

Are you dark or fair? If dark wear gold, if fair wear silver

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 30/03/2018 19:17

The reason i said closed toe is because i have a really strange nail on my big toe. I had an operation as kid and the nail never grew back. And now its all gross and i just have a triangle shaped lump of nail. Its gross. I never wear any shoe where my feet are out.
So avoid the black and go for gold?
So a chunky nude shoe is out of the question aswell?

Have a look at Irregular Choice for funky closed toe shoes?

Then their classic bridal designs....

You can get a gel or acrylic fake toenail done for the wedding.

I lost both my big toenails a couple of months before I got married (freak occurrence involving shoes that were too small and a night out on the town) and just had half grown stumps on the day, but a gel nail lady was able to fix them.

TroubledLichen · 30/03/2018 19:29

Congrats, it’s a gorgeous dress!

No no no to funky shoes, anything chunky or black. If you need closed toe then go for a simple stiletto court shoe (no bars or anything across your foot) in a metallic shade, rose gold would look particularly fab but silver, gold or even nude would also work. Get a pair of ballet flats too, just so you’ve got them on standby in case your feet hurt later on.

DairyisClosed · 30/03/2018 19:31

Definitely not back. You can only really wear a nude toned shoe with that because the dress is nude toned. Accessorise with small gold/rose gold jewelry. If you want to include black opt for a black ribbon in your hair. No where near the dress basically. Baby pink and black is very 2003.

DairyisClosed · 30/03/2018 19:34

Oh and M&S do plenty of cheap bit acceptably comfortable court shoes.

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 30/03/2018 20:04

Thank you will pop into the nail shop. If they can fix it, i will be over the moon. Onto my next question, can anyone throw some shoe images at me. I like maybe nude, or gold.

Dd is wearing the same coloured dress as mine with white glitter shoes.
OH and DS are wearing black suits with white shirts and blush ties. Anything that will go with that and comes in under £30 and is reasonably comfy to walk in, ( will take flats for the walk to and from car.) Bonus points if its something that will also go with the same dress in navy.
I really apprecaite all the help. Thank you.
