Coats for those big of bottom

I'm desperately trying to find a raincoat before we head off to the peak district next week for a week of rain, joy but am struggling to find coats to accommodate my, ahem, rear.

I'm size 12-14 on the bottom and 12 on top but size 12 coats barely do up and size 14 are too huge on top

Any recommendations? I need something very waterproof, warmth is less important.

I struggle with sleeve length in seasalt. I know, my body is bloody awkward!

Probably not exactly what you are looking for but I am of a similar body shape and have had good luck this week with the Hobbs Saskia - it's a lovely coat with lots of room for the caboose!

Ooh I love the petrol coloured one - and I need a lighter coat for spring so may treat myself. And just get wet next week! Or wait in the pub while dh walks with the kids...?

I bought one of the a-line mid season coats and it is brilliant. Light, waterproof, warm and roomy! Websites crap but delivery and returns are good.

I've just bought a protected species commuter. I'm two sizes bigger on below the waist.

It's the best thing I think I own. It's amazing.
