Best (bargain) long tops/tunics for short arses!

I'm only 5ft 2in but a size 12-14. I hate wearing tops that leave my huge bum & thighs exposed but I am struggling to find anything that looks ok on me. They are either too short; or else designed for people much taller than me and so reach my knees!

I have limited budget so bargains needed please!

I also have exactly the same problem! I don't have any specific suggestions, although one thing I've found helpful is to buy tops from the 'tall' ranges in shops (ASOS and new look especially) as they tend to be longer.

I'm continually on the look out for nice long tunic style tops but rarely find any I like.

Primark t shirt dresses or long line t shirt tops they keep changing the name are only £3-£5. They do a strappy vest version which is ideal to wear underneath dresses.
