Where can I get a proper bra fitting in Meadowhall?

I live in the back of beyond as far as shops are concerned and need a proper good bra intervention type bra fitting and then probably to buy a couple of bras that fit really well. I can get to Meadowhall but want to know it's worth me travelling first. Are there good bra shops (not m and s, more bravissimo type places)? Is it worth me travelling for an hour or would I be better driving further and getting a more decent selection of shops? Thanks one and all.

I can’t think of one place in Meadowhall. I always head to Bravissimo in Leeds if I need refitting. Meadowhall has the usual M&S, Debenhams, HOF etc but that’s it.

Use this calculator booborbust.com then order a few to try

If you can drive further to a Bravissimo after you’ve used the calculator, do that as well.

I use Ann summers for measuring in Meadowhall xx

Thanks all, I suspected as much. I've used the boob or bust calculator and might head for m and s and try a load on in the boob or bust size.

I had a recent fitting in a Debenhams recently (down south), it was very good. I’d already done the boob or bust measurement and it came out the same. What made it better than measuring myself and trying on bras on my own, was that she knew all about the tiny differences in fit between one bra style and another. I ended up with a perfectly fitting, incredibly comfortable bra. In fact I bought three of the same, in different colours.

So your nearest Debenhams might be worth a try.

And to add - I was wearing an m&s bra in the same size as I was measuring. However, the fit was terrible!

Thanks, Princess.

I'd avoid M&S too, their sizing and styles can be awful. Try Debenhams or H of F, but online in multiple sizes probably best if you can't get to Leeds?

I got measured at la boux avenue at meadowhall they were really good.

theblessedDJ · 29/03/2018 00:17

Well, I'm going to our tiny M&S tomorrow and will try a few on and see what I think. Will try to get to Leeds if not.
