Sketchers - old lady shoes? Trainers?

I need some trainers to walk around in with jeans. Are sketchers old lady shoes? Bear in mind that I am -ancient- late 40s and what can look granny chic on a stylish 20 yo might just look granny on me.

Or if not sketchers, any particular kinds of trainers look better than others? Am rubbish at shopping.

Sketches go walk are amazing. I honestly don't care what anyone thinks cause I bet my feet are more comfortable than theirs! Wink I'm 31 but worn them since I was 25.

My black Skechers look like grown up PE plimsolls. It’s not great. Indoor use only Sad

I'm 37. Got into Skechers 18 months ago and will never look back. They are so comfortable and my previously permanent and horrible foot pain only returns when I've been wearing shoes that aren't Skechers for any period of time. I wear the plain black Go Walks for work and the colourful trainer style ones with casual clothes e.g. jeans at the weekends. Go and try some on, OP, and see if you/your feet like them.

Got some a while back, very light but not overly keen tbh. Prefer fitflops. However saw an ad earlier for a different Skechers variant more like Converse/Vans.
